Who should not use chemical peels?

  • Have taken the oral acne medication isotretinoin (Myorisan, Claravis) in the past six months?
  • Has a personal or family history of ridged areas that is caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue (keloids)
  • Have pregnancy
  • Have repeated or serious outbreaks of cold sores

  • Lactic acid peel – These peels are derived from milk. They are used to treat wrinkles and pigmentation. They come in light, medium, and deep variants.
